After breaking two bones in one leg and spraining the other ankle, with continuing therapy, this product adds stability with promised comfort.

Have had plantar fasciitis in the past and although I didn't have any symptoms, I began experiencing extreme pain in the heel area. Since I had dealt with this effectively in the past, I knew what I needed to do so I ordered two pairs of inserts. One, the Spenco Original and the other the PowerStep Pro. I had worn the PowerStep in the past, so I was familiar with the brand, but had never worn the Spenco. I was thrilled with the feel and comfort of the Spenco Original Total Support insert. I had also made an appointment with my podiatrist at Vandy which was about two weeks out from the arrival of both inserts. I decided to wear the Spenco to the appointment b/c I really liked them and they felt very, very comfortable. My podiatrist, who generally prescribes the PowerStep, was extremely impressed with the padding under the heel on the Spenco and said he was not aware that Spenco came that highly supportive and padded. Bottom line, I will be wearing the Spenco Original Full Support every day.
