I finally found my all-natural sleeping pill. I took two last night, slept through the night, and woke up feeling rested. Not once did I wake up before the alarm went off. This is now my nightly rituall to banish insomnia.

ive taken a am/pm work out supplement before called "stemulite" a morning pill and a bedtime pill. the only differnece between the two is the bedtime pill had "melatonin" i take one tablet prior to dinner, it takes awhile for the effects to kick in (diretctions say one hour to bed time), but i guess it depends how much your body tolerates it. i am currently in afghanistan, and sleep here is difficult. i remembered i was taking the stemulite product, so i decided to give this a try, and it works great for me. once i fall asleep, i am sleeping deeply through out the night without getting up middle of the night tossing and turning my body. there will be a couple of nights where i only get 4-5 hours of sleep, but taking this product i feel refreshed in the morning and ready to get going with the day without feeling sluggish. melatonin is a natural hormone which your body produces to promote deep sleep. this product helped me feel "naturally" sleepy rather than drugged and feeling refreshed in the morning rather than groggy.

I use this instead of steroids for arthritis and muscle spasms. It works as well, it's cheaper, and easier on your stomach. I switched, on a doctor's advice, from using Clinoril for arthritis to taking melatonin, at my busiest, most stressful time of the year, and I felt no loss of flexibility from the change. The muscles helped by the Clinoril did, and continue to do, just as well with the melatonin. It was first invented as a sleep aid, but scientists soon noticed that it seemed to make the lab rats feel and act younger. People do mistake me for being 10 years younger than I am, and comment on how I move around so effortlessly. I'm 63.

After ruling out a number of possible issues, my doctor recommended that I take Melatonin nightly one hour before bedtime to help me sleep through the night and wake up refreshed. He told me to start with one tablet (3 mg) and work up to three tablets if necessary. For awhile I did have to take 3 each night but now, after 18 months, I usually only need one per night to do the trick. If I miss one night I do not notice much of a difference, but if I stop taking it pretty soon I notice I am heading back where I started with frequent waking in the night and starting each day worn out. Melatonin has made a huge difference in how well I rest at night and how I feel the next day. Two of my children have the same sleep issues I do, and Melatonin has helped them as well.

bought this for my parents. they use everyday. help to sleep. great.. no complain so far. they should have 360 pills in a bottle. anyway, I think overall they sleep better, but don't know whether it has side effects. will buy again.

Helps me sleep peacefully.

After years of sleeping poorly I got fed up and asked the doctor for some "real" sleeping pills. The Lunesta worked fine the first night, utter bliss to fall asleep and stay asleep. Second night: not so much. Someone mentioned melatonin, so I added two of them to the Lunesta. Works great. I fall asleep feeling sleepy, not druggy, and wake up very clear. After a month of getting proper sleep, you wouldn't recognize me. I also take (more than ten years now) SSRI meds for depression. Serotonin... melatonin...? If one is screwed up the other is too? Dunno if this makes any scientific sense, but it's nice to have a normal life.

My doctor suggested Melatonin as a help with my migraine headaches and difficulty staying asleep. It works well for me. On most nights I get 6-7 hours sleep. I fall asleep within 15 minutes and if I wake up during the night I am able to get back to sleep.
