I purchased the Shea Moisture Bar Soap and this Body Lotion because I have sensitive skin and the soap I was using was very drying and I have to say using the 2 of these together is very effective. I do not have dry skin even in this cold weather and it makes me feel clean and non irritating. I'm now dedicated to purchase this product from now on.

The scent is very strong but fairly pleasant. If you are at all sensitive to strong perfume scents, it may be too much for you. It's quite thick but nongreasy. It is also hard to get out of the bottle. On a cold dry winter day, I tried using it on one leg while putting my CeraVe moisturizing cream (the one in the jar) on the other. After 14 hours or so, I found that the CeraVe left me noticeably more moisturized than the Shea Moisture, so I won't be buying the Shea Moisture again. That plus the smell was too strong for me and the bottle design needs a re-work to make it easier to get out.

I love the way this lotion moisturizes. I agree with all the other people in that it is difficult to get out of bottle, please rework that!! Would be better in a tube. Because it is so thick I decided to mix it with my Cer'Ve cream, about half and half. Wow, what a great combo! Easy to apply, last all day and does a great job.

I LOVE sheamoisture lotions! This one is so good! It is thick but it moisturizes really well. Especially good for winter. My only complaint is it kinda hard to squeeze out of the bottle because it think. It's so worth it. My skin is stays dry and itchy and this lotion is the fix for it. I love the smell too!

I love trying new products, but ever since I first tried SheaMoisture lotion, I haven't bought anything else... and it's been over 2 years! I keep one in my purse and one by my bedside - I even use a teeny amount as my daily facial moisturizer, which saves me the money of buying a separate facial moisturizer. The only thing I'm not in love with is the bottle (it would be easier to use in an upside-down, more squeezable tube I think), but the scent, consistency, and moisture are all amazing. It keeps my skin bright and buttery soft. I love what SheaMoisture stands for, too.

This moisturizer is the best. I first ran across this at a local dept store. After that one time couldn't find it again. I was so disappointed, until I found it on drugstore.com. Love these people! You can find almost anything on the site! Any way, this is the best moisturizer and I've tried them all. I like to use products that are as natural as possible without breaking the bank. It moisturizers well, feels good, no overwhelming perfume smell to it although it smells great and is very affordable.
