Cons: Had Side Effects

Bottom Line: not recommended

1 is unfair, but the way they label the "star" system a 3 star would have been "works just fine" which for me wasn't true. But I'm sure it is just as good as other similar products and my review is only my own experience I wanted to share to inform others. What I want to say is that there is evidence that creatine works to improve performance, but it isn't for everyone. I had the typical side effects which were uncomfortable for me and I didn't notice any difference before and after the loading phase of using the product. To note, I used a conservative loading schedule (less than the recommended amount,) but still got the side effects which were persistent. However, maybe because I was using less I didn't see the active effects. I would say that if you are a very competitive athlete with demanding goals, perhaps this can give you an edge. If you consider yourself an average athlete who is dedicated to keeping in YOUR best shape but don't need every edge you can get, then you can do without it. That said, mileage may vary. :-)

Creatine Monohydrate is a great product; I have used it for 3 years now and I have seen tremendous increases in performance and ability. It gives you more confidence, but the only downside is the water weight intake. You must drink a lot of water with this product or you WILL cramp up. But other than that I would recommend this product if you are really serious about gaining muscle and improving your athletic performance.

As a dietary supplement, for Creatine maintenance, take seven capsules daily, preferably four capsules before and three capsules after exercising. For Creatine loading, take 28 capsules daily for four days. Take pills at four 4-hour intervals throughout the day. Do not exceed the loading level for more than four days in any one month period. Do not exceed stated usage.

Store in a cool, dry place.
