I also add 1 tsp. of Mexican chocolate powder (contains cinnamon) for a light mocha flavor. A 16-oz glass of this self-made smoothie is a cost-effective, wonderfully satisfying between-meal drink, as well as a nutritious and tasty meal replacement. I found the chocolate Genisoy flavor artificial-tasting, using the same ingredients in my smoothie except the Mexican chocolate.

Good tasting soy based protein powder. I mix the vanilla flavor in smoothies with fruit and milk or soy milk, using a hand blender. Also contains good amounts of other vitamins and minerals. Would recommend bigger scoop to have a more accurate measure. The amount they state to use is 3 heaping tablespoons and the scoop is 1 tablespoon. [...]

I give this 5 stars because although I really don't care for vanilla flavored shakes, this is great added to smoothies or other recipes for a healthy boost, and some sweetness. I don't like that it is sweetened with fructose, but it's much better than high fructose corn syrup, which is in most everything else!

I love these shakes. I've been drinking them for a week or two now, and the combination of the B vitamins and folic acid are really helping my mood and energy levels. The only thing that could be a problem with them is that if you do not mix them completely they taste horrible. I mix them with non-fat skim milk and they are great. Don't even try mixing them by hand with a spoon, you will just waste your time and it will taste horrible. Spend the extra few dollars and get one of the lion heart baby formula mixers they sell here. 30-60 seconds and you can mix 8-16oz of liquid and shake powder wonderfully.

I bought this after trying the chocolate version, and this is just as good. I mix it with nonfat vanilla yogurt, peaches, pineapple, and orange juice. You will get your servings of fruit and dairy as well as protein in one glass. You could add a few more drops of vanilla extract as that is the only observation of the product - it's a tad weak on the flavor. Nevertheless, it's still a great deal.
