I too take this to relieve PMS stress, and mood swings. It also practically cures anxiety. B vitamins are all the B's (B1, B2, B6, B12 ect.)together. This B complex is more than enough mg's for anyone! The only B supplement you might need in addition to this complex is a shot of B12 - only in the most severely deficient people. Taking one pill a day -with a meal, will give you fantastic results that you will not fully appreciate... Not until you run out of the the pills for more than a week, and then realize how horrible you feel without them!

Vitamin B works remarkably well for my PMS - horrendous irritability and mood swings for half the month. For years I was taking Schiff's PMS Formula but they discontinued it. I knew Schiff's active ingredient list was essentially B-complex so I turned to GNC B-Complex 50. I was back to my own rational, normal, easy-going self in only a few days' time. Incidentally I react badly to herbals like chasteberry and St. John's Wort, but I improve tremendously under the B-complex vitamins. Hope this helps other PMS sufferers.

Although easy to swallow, it's tough to digest, and the pills get humid. I don't recommend it. Besides, the content of B complex is extremely high.
