Being Italian I believe that olive oil can do many things for our bodies and this lip treatment has helped keep my parched lips looking great. I have a bad habit of chewing and licking my lips when I'm nervous. But after using this lip balm at bed time every night, my lips are back to normal again within days. Yes / No - You may also flag this review 2/19/2016 Bad Taste & Smell  Comments about Nivea Lip Care A Kiss of Olive Oil & Lemon, .17 oz: Skip the Olive Oil & Lemon smells and tastes like a bad perfume this one is being used as my nail cuticle cream till it is gone. However Honey Nivea has replaced my expensive Fresh Sugar lip balm. Very good for night time use. I had cracked lips and with daily use at night time I have not had a relapse this winter. The smell is light honey. The color is yellow but it is the thickest of the group hence why I use it for night time only. The regular blue is my go to for daytime. Cherry and Berry Kiss are good but do leave a light stain on lips and I don't use them much.

The subtle "Olive Oil & Lemon" flavor and scent are very pleasing. The effects are long lasting. Overall I consider this product a real find. I bought this after reading all of the wonderful reviews, but I don't like the slight odd taste that this olive oil and lemon balm has. It smells okay and works fine, I just don't like the slight taste it has when it's on my lips. I love all the Nivea lip products, but this one really is the best. It smells great and fresh. The lemon is really energizing. The best part is that its hydration lasts a long time. It's now my go-to lip balm every day!
