he loves this product because it doesn't have a strong odor, it really works and it is super simple to use. he's tried similar products in all price ranges and found this one to be the best out there!

This is great for men's hair, expecially asian hair. Doesn't have a super hold, but good for making guys look lightly groomed and put together.

After having all those gel bottles lying around with a small amount of product still in them that I can't get to, I thought I would give this a try. It doesn't control my hair as well as gel and it gives it a greasy feel and look. I bought two because it was 50% off the second, but I'll go back to gels when I run out. I prefer the Upper Management hair gel.

This product is decent for my pixie-cut hairstyle; I'm an African-American woman with a hair relaxer and color. However, after one hour, it dries up and there is no shine to my hair. This still hasn't stopped me from using it. It provides a break from the hair wax that I normally use (Sebastian In Control Fiber Wax, which is discontinued). I'll continue to use it as an in-between hair pomade.

I am a chick but I love this stuff. I have very coarse, curly hair (think thick Italian hair). I need this after I blow-dry and straighten my hair with a straightning iron. This works great for taming my fly-a-ways and making my hair shiny and lays flater and for me that's a good thing.

Try to find a pomade, wax or gel that doesn't smell like #%^%!!! It's just about impossible. This product has a very subtle, somewhat more masculine scent, which is it's biggest selling point. It is not a super-hold product though, which I don't care for anyway. If you have dry, lackluster hair, this product is great at giving some shine and a little control. For men, this is the ONLY product I've ever found that doesn't have an annoying scent.

I've tried using this product wet or dry and after some experimentation I found that either way the pomade wouldn't hold my hair. While I'm not spiking my hair to defy gravity, I do give it a bit of lift, while I can style the product fine in my hair... after just ONE hour, the product loses all of its hold. Now maybe it's just my hair because I have thin, fine hair (think East Asian black hair). I've tried ICE spiking gel but I didn't like how it left my hair all crunchy and icky afterwards. Even the ICE spiking gel didn't hold for more than a few hours, so I'm not sure what's going on because ICE spiking gel is supposed to have a really high hold. The good thing about the product is that it doesn't make your hair all crunchy and it doesn't make flakes in your head when you put it on. By the way, I've tried putting from a dab (think penny-sized) to a little more generous (dime-sized), but still... the hair doesn't stay.

Hmmm. When I've bought this pomade in the salon it has had a cloudy-clear color, but when I received it in my drugstore.com order, it was white and opaque. Either way, the product works well enough. I've found that mixing a dab of pomade with a touch of water helps me to spread it more evenly throughout my hair. (Hope they come out with an organic version one of these days.)

This product has lots of castor and coconut oils. I used it on my flat top, and it gives a greaser look. It feels like oil and wax in my hair. I'm going for a different style instead. I use the "Fiber" product, which gives a nice matte finish, and isn't oily, but it feels too waxy. I want to try the "Matte" product next.

I liked the Crew Pomade mainly for it's good smell, but it did seem a little greasy. After reading good reviews, I was maybe expecting too much from it. I also tried the Crew Fiber, which was just not right for me, too stringy. I found Dep's Sport Sculpting Clay to work best for me.
