I used this to protect my walking cast and stitches from getting wet while I showered. It was easy to pull over the large boot-like cast and kept everything dry. I had originally tried the Seal-Tight cast protector but it was impossible to use. It has a rigid ring around the top that doesn't give. It wouldn't fit over the walking cast (boot). This version has a strong elastic band that stretches easily over the cast and also keeps water out. And it's much cheaper.
I tried all sorts of ways to keep the bandages dry, and they didn't work or were expensive and time-consuming. With this I can shower and keep the bandages dry quickly, easily, and confidently.
