I have a lot of hair, but it is very fine. I live in a climate that is humid 10 months of the year. Hardware is the only product that gives my hair volume. Depends on the time of the year - may need a little, may need a little more, but I hate to be without it.

Great product for holding thinner, straight hair and permed hair.Only need a small amount to work into wet hair. Avoid using too much and be careful how you store product.
Keep tube upright or gell will run out on to cabinet.

I have stick-straight hair and this product is the only one I can use that will actually allow a curling iron curl to curl my hair. It's non-drying, not sticky and also works to define hair when applied to dry hair.

I use this before using my curling iron on my bangs. I don't have to recurl my hair again till the next shampoo. Great product! Does not leave visable residue in your hair. My son uses this too.

When I used to have a very unique haircut which involved 'spiking' up the back of my short hair - this was the ONLY stuff I used. Great, all-day hold... it is called Hardwear for a reason! I recommend it to anyone trying to do some of the more unique/cooler/edgier styles that need quick-drying, all-day hold.

I have used this gel for years, and it is the ONLY product that can control my hair. I have very thick, nappy, curly hair, but no one would ever know because of this gel. I actually get compliments all the time on how "cool" my hair is.

This product is OK. It left a white residue on my hair and I only used a small dime sized amount for my whole head. I would highly recommend Herbal Essenses instead.

Awesome stuff -- the ultimate in firm hold. Rather chemical scent, but I think this is a product for both men and women, having to please both types of noses. If you want your hair to be firm and almost immoveable, this is the stuff for you!
