Once you get past the odd, soapy, slightly organic smell this product is amazing. Within a few days, this product reduced the fine lines around my jawline and above my upper lip. It does not sit heavy on my skin, and did not cause any breakouts like some moisturizers have for me. I think it's great for combination skin. I had pretty good skin in my youth, but aging catches up with us all. This product makes my skin so smooth and even, I feel confident enough to go makeup free again. Definitely will buy again, it's worth every penny.

according to skin deep website-- but some of the other philosophy products got low scores for hazardous chemicals (formaldehyde, nitrosamines, etc.) too bad...........

I have tried many moisturizers that cost much less money but none of them can compare to this product. It does a wonderful job of adding needed moisture to my middle-aged skin without any greasy or goopy feel. I doubt that it has made me look any younger but my skin feels better. It's expensive but it doesn't take much to cover the entire face and it really does make the skin feel softer. The odor is not very nice but it isn't very strong so it doesn't linger. My husband and I no longer notice the smell.

This [$] moisturizer is no better than the $10.00 jar of "other brand" that I have been using for years. I thought the higher price tag would be a better product. I am just out [$] and feel silly for wasting money on something I didn't need.

I really like this moisturizer, although it would be improved with an SPF added (say SPF 30). Also, now that the weather is turning cooler I find that I need to either use a tinted moisturizer or foundation to keep my skin from feeling a touch dry. Certainly wonderful in summer and warmer seasons. Is absorbed quickly and smells nice as well.
