I went out and bought this stuff after reading the reviews and noticed after 2 days of using it that my zits were disappearing. My skin overall just looks better. I would have rated this with all 5 stars, but took one away due to the bleaching factor. Also, the first time I used it my skin felt a small burning sensation. Slathering on some moisturizer helped it. Definitely recommend!

Been using this for 10+ years... sometimes it's hard to find but I always go out of my way to get it... (i will not use anything else!!) Great for 2x day use for acne... It's like you feel a little "clean & clear army" fighting zits and blackheads totally digging down & cleaning out pores leaving you totally refreshed.

This was the worse cleanser I had ever used. After the first day of using it, I broke out worse than I had ever had in my entire life. My skin dried out and Cystic ance began to form all over my face. I typically stand by Clean and Clear products. But this one was not worth the cost.

People are reviewing here and saying that it dries the hell out of their skin. You should be using a moisturizer if you find that it's drying your skin. (This goes with any acne product.) If you have oily skin, then you might not suffer from the drying as much. I use this in conjunction with a salicylic face scrub. I've used the Clean & Clear Clearing Scrub but I've lately switched to St. Ives' Scrub for Oily & Acne Prone Skin as I found that a better one at exfoliating. These two have kept me clear for over a year now and thank god for that. You just have to make sure you use a non-greasy moisturizer that has SPF.

This product is terrible...it makes your face solid red for 20-25 minutes after and gives you more breakouts!!! DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT, It should be removed from store shelves.

This facewash was nice and creamy, lathered up well and made my skin feel soft, but it didn't do anything for my acne after using a whole tube.

This is a very effective product when it comes to reducing acne. Because it utilizes benzyol peroxide as it's acne fighting ingredient, however, even a small amount can bleach shirts or towels (and the back of the bottle does warn people to be careful about this). I found I was only able to use it in the shower, as I otherwise ruined too many shirts and nightgowns washing my face at the sink. In the end, I quit using it because of the bleaching problem, but now my face is getting whiteheads and I'm tempted to go back to it . . . because it really is super for acne!

I've tried a lot of cleansers and this is the best one I've found. It works better than the Aveeno Acne washes and is less drying and more effective than Proactiv. I have mild to moderate acne that is mostly hormonal, and this treats it really well. It also has helped keep my skin from getting oily during the day. It is mild enough to use two or three times a day. Another plus: I have very sensitive skin, so I use to have to wait for my skin to calm down after washing my face before applying makeup, but no more!

Note: Only use if you have oily skin otherwise it will dry the heck out of it. I absolutely love it and it has worked way better for me than Proactiv or Murad ever did. I have oily skin and this is the only one I have found that really puts a stop to my breakouts. Downside: it bleaches your towels.

This stuff is truly amazing. I read the reviews before I got it, and one of them says you 'have' to use a really drying toner afterwards for it to work. Ive been using a sensitive skin toner, and a sensitive skin moisturizer. And it works great! It does make you susceptible to sunburn though (something Ive never had a problem with in my life) so I wear sweep a thin coat of that Maybelline mineral power foundation over my face, because it has SPF twelve and isn't greasy. And actually, my face is so clear now, if it weren't for the sunscreen in that I wouldn't even be wearing face makeup anymore!
