Very good stuff, overall. I don't use it on my face because it dries it out way too much (don't forget this is 10% benzyol peroxide, the highest concentration I've yet to see). But my chest and shoulders are much "tougher". I use this on them along with Clean & Clear's Persa-Gel 10%, and it works well. Definitely hardcore stuff. Probably get some moisturizer too if you plan on using this on your face.

I would have given it a 5, but I removed 2 points for these 2 reasons: 1) Available only as 10% bp, it would be good if they offered a 5% and 2.5% versions. 2) This product is not oil free and I don't want any more oil on my face than I already have. If C&C decides to change these 2 factors it would have one of the best acne fighters on the market combined with the blackhead clearing scrub.

DEFINITELY NOT A GOOD ACNE PRODUCT!!! My sister tends to break out from time to time and she decided to go out and buy an acne cleanser that would fight breakouts all day long. Well she decided to pick this one but for the fact that it was on sale. She said that she ended up breaking out more and I couldn't figure out why until I read the ingredients list. SOME OF THE MAIN INGREDIENTS ARE PETROLEUM AND MINERAL OIL!! These ingredients will definitely clog pores especially if you already have oily/acne prone skin. Petroleum and mineral oil are often found in lip balms and chapstick which help to lubricate the skin but they certainly are not meant for the face! Any kind of oil (period) will clog pores. Instead try Oxy's 10% benzoyl peroxide wash. It is oil-free and contains a maximum strength acne fighting ingredient.

When I went on vacation I broke out badly on my forehead. It felt very embarrassing to go out. I tried Clearasil Ultra vanishing acne cream with 10% BP and glycolic acid, but this product acne made my skin worst. One of my friends had the Continuous Control Acne Cleanser and asked me to try it. I cleared up in exactly 3 days. You can see immediate results using this product. This is one of the best products I have ever used and the best part is it is not drying at all like other cleansers.

I have only begun breaking out over the last 3 years (I'm 22), and this is my first real attempt at medicating my skin. I have been using this product for a little over a month and I have mixed feelings about it. It's clean and refreshing to use (that's the menthol not the bp), and when followed with an oil-free moisturizer, it doesn't dry out my skin. HOWEVER, my breakouts are actually much larger about an hour after washing. I am also getting pimples in areas that were once clear, such as my cheeks. They clear up quick enough, but are replaced by new ones. This trend began immediately after I began using this product. Perhaps it's just too oily of a product to use. I have faith in bp, so I'm thinking about switching to a benzyl peroxide gel, as suggested at acne.org . I'm cheap, so I'll probably keep using this until the bottle runs out.

LOVE THIS STUFF!! It is the only thing that has not only cleared my acne but also kept it away! Just rub it around gently, don't leave it on too long, and use it twice a day, and then enjoy your beautiful skin!

This product is excellent. I have had a problem with acne for a long time and never found anything that kept my skin clear as much as this product does. It does however stain your towels. If you use it and dry your face off, the towel will look like it got bleach on it.

I agree with the other "1 star" givers. This product is way to oily for acne-prone skin. It stings. It didn't make a difference in my skin. Try again Clean & Clear!

I would give this 4 stars, except for the bleached collars of so many shirts and light spots on pillow cases. While this product does do a good job at clearing up skin, if your skin is soft and absorbs stuff, there's a chance you'll end up with bleach stains on things even though you've rinsed your face thoroughly. While it won't get rid of all zits, overall, it does take care of blackheads, whiteheads and enlarged pores. Try it with the Clean and Clear oil-free acne fighting moisturizer.
