I have tried so many other acne cleansers that it's not even funny! This product has worked better than any cleanser I have tried. Ya, it will bleach towels and clothes if you're not careful, but here is what I have been doing to prevent this. When I wash my face, I use a white wash cloth, and to dry my face I use a white towel. This product, depending on your skin type, may also dry out your skin. I've found that the sooner I wash the cleanser off, the less my skin drys out. Also, you may want to start using a face lotion if you don't already. I highly recommend this product. It won't completely get rid of pimples, but it does give you a lot less, stops major breakouts, and any pimples that you do get are a lot smaller!

I broke out after using this. It has petroleum and mineral oil in it; that alone clogs pores. The bottle is still sitting in my bathroom. I don't know if I am going to use it again.

After years of suffering with monthly breakouts, I found this product. It not only clears up my blemished skin quickly, but it also has prevented breakouts. When I do breakout, the blemishes are much smaller and they clear up very quickly. I will never stop using this product!

I have used this product for a couple of years and it has helped my adult acne (which is not too severe) quite a bit. Doesn't dry my skin out, and also smells good. I find that if I don't use it, I break out and I'm not happy with pimples at the age of 43, so this is the solution for me for now.

I've been using this product for years, and can attest to its effectiveness in helping to prevent moderate acne breakouts, as well as helping to control oil. It will not completely eradicate your acne, but it should make a significant difference, especially if you use it at least twice daily. It feels very refreshing and cooling on the skin, and cleans deeply and thoroughly without over-drying. It will bleach towels and clothes if you're not careful, though. I highly recommend this product for people with oily skin and/or moderate acne.

I've been using this product for over 5 weeks, and it's truly done nothing for my skin. It has only managed to make my skin red and irritated. I have ugly blackheads on my nose, huge red bumps, and swollen pimples. The extra benzoyl peroxide does nothing except bleach my clothes.

I like this stuff a lot. It's cool and refreshing, not to mention it really does a good job of keeping blemishes under control, mainly I think due to the benzoyl peroxide. There are a ton of cleansers out there with salicylic acid, and if that works for you that's great, but those never did much for me. This stuff does the trick. A couple of cautions: it is a bit drying. You will likely want a (preferably oil-free) moisturizer to use after it. Also, you don't want to get any of it on clothes or towels as it can leave bleached-out spots. Aside from these things to watch out for, this is really great stuff, and for the price, you can't find a more effective product.

I have tried many, many acne treatments. I've been on every medication from the dermatologist-including Accutane. I am so happy by the results. I will say that it is kind of drying in the winter, so I only use it at night. I still haven't found a good one to use in the morning, but this is really a great product. I always have a few deep, cyst-like zits and this has really cleared up my face. Try it--it's cheap!

This Clean & Clear cleanser uses mineral oil as an ingredient. As a result, it's greasy and makes my skin oilier. This makes it bad for my pimples. The extra benzoyl peroxide didn't seem do any more than the 3% kind; it only made my skin more irritated. I recommend trying the Neutrogena Cleanser/Mask in one instead.

I couldn't help but to try it myself, and it works very fine. It's gentle, refreshing, and prevents breakouts. However, it's not the deep pore cleansing type.
