The tweezers are very sharp and well made, however, if you are plucking a hair, they are so sharp that they can cut the hair you are trying to pluck so that you don't get it at the root.

I've had it with inferior, lower priced tweezers! These cost more, but help you get a much better grip! They were fantastic to use on a recent trip to the desert to remove splinters after an inadvertant encounter with a blooming cactus.

This is the only tweezer I use. It is so precise and effective. Tweezerman will sharpen them for you free - you pay shipping - should you ever want them sharpened. All Tweezerman tweezers are not created equal, however. I've found that the less expensive lines aren't as effective, though always better than the brands commonly found in grocery or [...] type stores.
