The plastic extension attached to the base of this clipper makes it easier to hold while in use. Unfortunately, the cutting edges on the clipper sent to me did not match up precisely. This defect causes rough edges that must also be filed and/or sanded.

Not that sharp and really not much better than a regular small clipper. I'm 65, male, and having problems with arthritis and some loss of feeling in my left hand, thought this would be the answer. Not the case.

I am a 40 yr old man and have very thick nails that your standard clippers can not cut. Theese clippers cut my nails easier than any clipper I have ever tried.

The greatest thing about this is that you can actually hold it; it's big enough so that it doesn't slide away. And the blades are sharp enough to actually cut even thickened, tough nails. I use it for touchups, when a nail gets broken, as well as for a full job on finger and toenails. This is by far the best clipper I've ever had; it does the job.
