We've been using Brita faucet filters for over 4 1/2 years now with no leak problems whatsoever.
We just switched to the FF-100. Our only criticism (minor) concerns that model's indicator light. The instructions are ambiguous.
The light changes from periodic green blinks, to periodic yellow, to periodic red. The instructions tell you to change filter when the light _repeatedly_ blinks red. Does that mean the red blink rate will change (as it did in our previous model)? We'll wait a bit longer to see if the red blink pattern changes. If not, they must mean when the color changes from yellow to red. Though why they didn't just say so escapes me.

Works well for a while, but the way it's designed, it seems the filtration part weighs down the part where it's attached to the faucet, creating spraying leaks within a year. This is the second unit I've bought where this has happened...I think I'll be replacing it with another brand.

This is an excellent filter where water hardness is not an issue and you simply want to improve the taste of the water. We use this on our kitchen sink faucet and just replaced the first unit after 5 years when it began to leak. The filter cartridges are available on-line at significant savings over list price.

This is our second Brita Faucet Filtration System. Our first was the Acquview, [...]. We had trouble attaching this unit to our faucet but after a call to Brita we were sent an adaptor to screw on our faucet to allow the unit to fit on with no leaks. There are two settings: spray/shower and stream plus the filtration setting. It is easy to operate.

Switched from Pur to Brita faucet filter due to problems assembling cartridge. The Brita cartridge assembles easily, as mentioned in a previous critique, the connection to the fawcet leaked after a whle and finally kept falling off. I called Brita and they sent me a package of adapters, but none fit my Moen Fawcet. I finally went to [...] and found one that fit. Other than that the filter worked fine and the cartridge was easy to install and lasted considerably longer than the Pur cartridges. The taste of the water was considerably improved. After about 9 months the indicator light stopped working and I don't know if there is a fix for that, but the filter still works fine.

I bought two of these, and neither of them work consistently. I will never buy another. At first they seemed to work and then suddenly they would fall off tap. I am back to buying bottled water.

I have had the exact same experience as another reviewer described. Weve only had this system for about six months and now there is water spraying and leaking. Its actually hard to fill a glass of just filtered water because the unfiltered water is spraying about. It worked well up to recently, but if we have to keep replacing the whole system it doesnt seem worth it.

I never knew how bad our water tasted until I installed this system! Now I can't get enough! I use it for cooking water and also for my houseplants...such a great difference in taste, and my plants are thriving too. If I had one complaint, it would be that from filter to filter, you never get the same flow out of the faucet. Some filters seem clogged from the start, and others are wonderful with a full stream. I haven't had any problems with leaks. My unit is 3 years old now.

Unscrew the aerator from faucet. If faucet threads are on the outside, attempt to attach the system directly to the faucet. If faucet threads are on the inside, select the proper adapter and washer provided and attach to the faucet. Support the base and insert the water filter until it clicks. Turn on the filtered water setting. Run water for 5 minutes to flush new filter. The 100-gallon filter life begins after this. Replace filter after approximately 100 gallons or about every 4 months.
