was looking for wen ; came across video how wen is expensive; saw another product alike but for a fraction of the cost so decided to try; not coming back to regular shampoo even organic; cleanse, condition without damaging and smells fantastic;
i saw some negative reviews but the fact is its not a shampoo so if you have thick hair you have to use a lot of the product at once; and if your hair is also long then you will have to use like 1/4 of the jar at once and distribute evenly and in parts; what i see it's only suitable for fine, short, straight hair;

I use As I Am CoWash Cleansing Conditionor for my co-wash routine. It has good slip for detangling and rinses clean without that stripped feeling. The smell is very pleasing as well. My only complaint is that it's packaged in a jar rather than a bottle. I have to use a scoop to dispense the product to avoid water exposure. Overall a great product and I have it on auto-reorder! so I never have to worry about running out!

Never tried a cleansing conditioner before, but now I will not use anything else. I have coarse, Asian hair that is dry from coloring. I also have dandruff and a sensitive scalp from all the coloring. No more. It has soothed my scalp, moisturized my hair without bogging it down and it is like it was 20 years ago. My hair has body again. I find I don't have to use conditioner at all anymore. And no dandruff. It's like a miracle in a jar!

I've been looking for a reasonably priced cowash since I started using the expensive Ren. This stuff is cheap, smells good, and works just as well. I have fine wavy hair and it wasn't too heavy as I feared it might be. I wash once with a little water added, rinse, then reapply and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing, which I learned to do with Ren. Works like a charm!

I love this cowash so very much. I have very long, very curly, very thick, color-treated hair, so I'm always on the lookout for products that can cope with it. I decided to give this a try, and I'm so glad I did. It goes on easily, and it's very gentle on my hair. It's great for detangling, too; my comb goes through my hair so much more easily when I use it. It also has a really delicious scent.

I would buy a giant bucket of it if they sold it that way, but alas.

This is the best conditioner for COwash I've used. I like that it's not a pump like most co/washes and conditioning shampoos, because I need to use so much for my coarse, thick hair that I always just took the top off and shook it out. With this jar, I can simply grab some and slather it on. It has the added bonus of being able to get ALL of the product out easily, too. It is great for frizz, though nothing tames my frizz if I air dry my hair. Yet even with frizz, this makes my curls/waves defined. It's more conditioning for me than the As I Am deep conditioning treatment. I actually prefer this for cleansing AND deep conditioning. A jar lasts me about a month with daily use. Try it!

I'm a swimmer with long hair, and I'm working hard to keep my hair nice even through multiple swims a week. As I Am is helping me do this. Before I get in the water, I rub coconut oil into my hair, wet it, and tuck it into a cap. After, I rinse with vitamin C water to neutralize the chlorine, and then co-wash with As I Am. Yes, I'm obsessive about taking care of my hair.

The As I Am has a lightly sweet smell, lifts all of the coconut oil off of my scalp, and my tangle-prone hair is manageable, soft, and healthy when I'm done. I imagine this product could be too heavy for thinner, straight hair; but for my heavy, wavy Caucasian hair, it is wonderful.

I use this to Cowash once a week along with the As I Am Deep Conditioner and the Leave In Conditioner. This Cowash gets my natural hair clean without stripping it. Plus it is very economical.

Just looking for a good detangler and moisturizer. This was a good buy. Too bad it doesn't have enough similar products to use with it that you have to put other products with it like the liquid black soap. But those two products work well together.
