As an As I Am COwash user, I was disappointed in this product. The COwash works great on my coarse, thick hair and I use it every day. This conditioning treatment didn't work as well as that does. I expected it to be even more conditioning, which I was going to use on my ends, but I found the COwash to be more moisturizing and smoothing. This works about 75% as well, so it may work wonders for people who use other products and then this.

This product is awesome! I use it once a week as a deep conditioner. After cowashing, I apply it (just a small amount) to my thick, 4A hair. I let it sit for about an hour or so with a shower cap on and go about my day. When I rinse it off, my hair is soft and shiny. Along with that, my curls are very moisturized. Let me say, before this, my hair would always be dry. After a few weeks of this, I saw a noticeable difference. The only thing I don't like about the product is the smell. It's not too bad, but I notice it every time I use it. Despite the smell, I will continue to use the product because it works.

I just used this product for the first time last night after coloring my hair and can I just say… WOW!! I ditched relaxers over 4 yrs ago, but I do flat iron and I was worried that this conditioner might be TOO heavy with all the oils and shea butter. To my surprise and delight, I discovered, no... it is NOT! My hair had shine after blow drying (and I'd skipped the Argan oil) and flat ironing was a breeze. Buy this... do not hesitate. Your hair will THANK you!

I have 4c texture hair, it work pretty well. Doesn't leave my hair as soft as this other deep conditioner but it leaves it soft n moisturized. Gonna add some oils .

I have just recently started wearing my hair naturally and have tried different products for my particular grade of hair. AS I AM really works great on my hair. It's not heavy and really gives it a good condition after washing and leaves it feeling soft and easy to manage.

This conditioner resolves the issue of roughness and those little micro-broken-off ends in unprocessed kinky hair. The label suggests using it every 2 to 3 weeks, but you will want to use it more often. It's a little pricey, though, but I figure that what I'm saving on not perming my hair and constantly buying products to remedy the damage that used to cause is far more than the cost of buying, say, one jar of this every month or so. Great product line all around.
Distribute throughout clean, detangled hair after cleansing with one of the As I Am cleansers (Curl Clarity, Cleansing Pudding or Coconut CoWash). Leave on 15-30 minutes, wear a plastic cap. Allow conditioner to penetrate under a warm hood dryer for the deepest treatment. Rinse thoroughly.
