I had a similar experience as another customer. Fan ended up slumping over the base. No way to keep this from happening, despite trying. This is a piece of junk. Don't waste your money.

Assembly was easy. After running a few hours the fan blade housing slowly slunk over onto it's base. Would not stand erect & function. I tried to use tape to hold up the fan, but to no avail. Unable to use. I would not recommend.
