This product is awful! I usually use Gray Away but it is hard to find sometimes so I thought I would try this - big mistake! First off this does not cover your gray - it just colors your scalp. The color is supposed to be light brown but it looks more like the clay soil you would find in your back yard. It also smells and has a tacky consistency. Do not waste your money on this!

I use it when I have no time, or when I find that people are coming unexpectedly, or I have a last minute meeting and I can't do the Clairol Roots Touch Up. Product has no harsh odor. It's effective immediately, and does not make the hair sticky. Sometimes it need two sprays in a certain area to cover the gray, but it does the job.

I have lots of grey hair at my temples and some on the crown of my head. My hair is salon color-treated--medium blonde with highlights. I ordered light brown because it was My Secret Correctives lightest shade available. This product worked much better than I thought it would. It's easy to use, covers the grey well, washes off my skin easily, & it lasts (I usually shampoo every 2-3 days and it lasts from shampoo to shampoo). It's not a perfect match to my hair color, but it looks decent - much better than the silvery grey growth. It doesn't look strange. My hair grows out very quickly - 3-4 weeks and I'm ready to head back to the salon. With this product, I can extend my hair color appt. by 2 weeks, saving me time and money. I think it looks OK on a small amount of outgrowth, but more than 6 weeks and I believe it would look a little odd. The only negative is that it does tend to feel a little tacky/dirty where used, but not so much that I won't use it. Bottom line, this is a good product and I would recommend trying.

I have very straight, fine hair that I have colored dark brown at the salon (foil technique) every 3 months. As the color washes out, it becomes light brown. This spray nicely covers the gray roots, which for me are concentrated mostly at the center and back of my head. It's also a good match for the color my hair is about the time I start using it. Compared to other, more expensive sprays, this one is a fairly good value, depending on how much coverage is needed. As the product is applied, you don't see an immediate change in color. It seems to develop as it dries. It's actually rather amazing! I would highly recommend this product to help extend time between colorings, especially for those who need only light to moderate gray coverage.
Shake can vigorously and apply My Secret Correctives Root Touch-Up Spray to dry hair holding the can nozzle 4 to 6 inches form the hair. Spray in short burst until desired color and coverage are achieved.
