I didn't have to! I love this fabric softener. It smells strong as you spray HOWEVER when you remove clothing from the dryer it is soft and just smells fresh and clean. No more dryer sheets sticking to everything and I am not putting anything toxic straight into the water to soften my clothes. VS Most Liked Negative Review Bought Fresh Air. Still has static. No odd waxy residue as with Bounce; no static as with dryer balls. Schpritz your laundry four times with the Method spray and you're good to go. Perfect results every time. Love it! Comments about method Dryer Activated Fabric Softener, Fresh Air, 12.2 fl oz: The first bottle I bought of this had the sprayer leakage/clogging problem, but I just poured it into another bottle and thinned it out with a little bit of water and used an extra couple sprays in the dryer. So I bought a second bottle, thinking it was a fluke, then on the 3rd or 4th use, the new bottle clogged. So I bought a spray bottle, put the product in there, then tried again. Yet again, the spray bottle clogged. Now I have two mostly-full bottles and have no idea how to use it. I will not buy this again. The clothes are not soft, and the scent is not as good as their regular fabric softener. If I add 10 sprays or more there is a marked improvement, but still a little bit of static. Also, every now and the sprayer clogs. I won't be purchasing these again.
