This soap, along with the Tomato Toner has made my acne prone combination skin HORRIBLE. It worked okay for about a week, and then my skin exploded in tiny pimples. My cheeks were over dry, my T-zone became extremely oily and every time I used it my skin got worse. Now I am struggling to get it back to normal. This soap did not work for me at all.

Before I begin to rave about this product, I would like to say that I generally LOVE Burt's Bees products and I take comfort in knowing they aren't chemical laden and full of funky preservatives - we put so much junk in and on our bodies. Mother Nature knows best. Now, to the Garden Tomato Soap. In my late 20's I started to develop adult acne. Miserable. So, I began the search for the right product. Thousands of dollars later, I discovered it and it's this stuff. It worked wonders for my skin! So much, that some of my friends have started to use it and report similar results.

The only reason I give this soap even one star is because it has a decent smell. I tried it in conjunction with the garden tomato toner and carrot body lotion. Well, the first two or three days the products seemed to be helping my combination complexion...I thought it was working so great for such a cheap price. Then my skin got like 10 times worse, when I'd only had a few zits by my eyebrows I got strange tiny clogged pores all over my face then discontinued use of all Burt's Bees and the pores unclogged. Also, about the carrot nutritive lotion- it gets moldy in about a month, which I think is because it has no preservatives. Eww! I highly suggest you don't waste your money or time on these products.

Excellent product. I love the smell. Cleanses well without any over drying. My skin is highly acne prone and also has spells of peeling. I've been using this bar for a month and all my dryness is gone.

Nothing worked on my acne prone face and back until I tried this. It dries out the acne and not your skin. :) My skin looks great and I feel so confident now.

I've been using this soap for over a year now, and it's really helped my combination, acne-prone skin. My pores appear smaller, breakouts are less frequent, and my t-zone isn't as oily. It really cleans without over drying and doesn't leave any residue. The tomato smell is unconventional, but you get used to it. Plus, the bar lasts forever! I only have to buy about two a year, so it's very economical. No, it's not a miracle cure for acne (nothing is!), but it definitely helps. This is a great product made by a great company, and I highly recommend it!

I really, really like this soap. It did exactly what it claims to do, and that is improve the complexion of oily and troubled skin. After using, you feel refreshed and clean. My acne cleared up within two days. I also used this product along with the tomato toner by Burt's Bees. My only complaint is that it is in a bar form, which is hard for me to store.

I started using this along with the toner about a month ago. The difference in my complexion is amazing. At 39, I've always assumed that I just had a 'ruddy' complexion, but now I realize that it was from all the anti-acne type soaps I've been using!! This soap cleans as well as they do without leaving my face ruddy. And the smell is heavenly to me - I know it's supposed to smell like tomatoes but sometimes when I get a whiff of it I swear it smells like sunshine on my horse's mane (the best smell in the world, in my opinion).

This stuff is GREAT. It leaves your skin SOOOO clean! Most soaps dry you out, this one absolutely will not.

I just received this soap yesterday, and let me say, it is wonderful! The smell of crisp tomato is a great pick me up, not to mention my oil slick of a face was shine free for a few hours. I do recommend using the tomato toner in conjunction with this. The soap leaves a very slight film. The toner gets it all off. I believe I've found a product that is out of this world. Thanks Burt! :)
