This has been a miracle product for me! I tried numerous products such as Proactiv, Retin-A, etc. for my severe acne, but nothing ever worked. I use the soap & toner 2x a day every day, & follow up with the Pore Refining Mask a few times a week & my skin is so clear! I do still get the occasional breakouts (typically around the time of menses), but they don't compare to the severity I used to deal with. My face & neck used to be covered with very large & painful pimples & my skin was extremely oily. I have been using this for the past 5 years or so. I highly recommend this product! I must add though, you need to be patient & find a system that works for you. I use the soap and toner twice a day, which works for me, but I have extremely oily skin. Just using it once a day did not work as well for me. So if your skin isn't as oily, this may be too often for you. If it appears to be too harsh or drying, try just using it once a day, every other day, etc.

I would recommend this product to anyone with mild acne and/or combination skin, because I have both issues with my skin and this product has really helped. I absolutely love this soap! I brought it mainly to use on my face and it has done more than expected. I also like to use it to shower with, it has a pleasant smell. I usually couldn't use soap on my face, because it would cause my problem with occasional acne worse, but this soap has done wonders, it not only cleared up my mild acne, but I noticed that it has diminished some of the darks spots left behind from previous outbreaks and has lessened my outbreaks. I follow up with the Burts Bees tomato toner after cleansing and I am impressed with both products. I make sure I never run out!!

I love this product! I tried it a few years ago battling oily skin in summer and combination in winter with rash-like breakouts nearly all the time. While nothing will miraculously cure oily skin it has tamed it immensely while seriously improving my complexion. It is the only face soap that I use and it is a great value!

I have oily skin (make up will not stay on my face); I live in a moderate climate- Southern CA. This REALLY dried out my skin. It caused overproduction of oil and then breakouts followed. It was a nice smelling soap- maybe good for body, but didn't work out for my facial skin. Oddly enough Burt's facial moisturizers are pretty heavy, but have worked very nicely at night, and during the day in dry climates. Any cold cream has worked well for me, paired with Burts Rosewater toner. Also- just started using Burts Peach Facial scrub- also seems to have had a clearing effect on my skin- a little too soon to tell though. (I'm in my early 30s- this probably also impacts my reaction to products)

I actually use this for my whole body. I have bad eczema and dry skin all over, and funny enough, this calmed down my skin! Don't know how or why, but it's awesome!

I like Burts Bees brand, especially their peach & willowbark scrub, so I decided to try this when saw it as a trial size. Big mistake. I had these little white things hanging out of my pores (excessive sebum?), when I didnt have them before I tried this stuff. It took a while to get my skin back to where it was. p.s. Im mid 20's, oily/acne prone skin. Maybe its meant to be used with a toner or moisturizer afterwards (at the time I used neither) but I think a product should work great on its own.

I have been used Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Complexion Soap for a good three weeks now for my oily and acne-prone skin. I have to say, I am very disappointed with its results. My skin has begun to breakout terribly and my skin was still oily. Though, when I discontinued using the product for a few days, I did notice my skin was less shiny by the end of the day.

I have to say that I really did enjoy the smell of this soap. However, that is as far as the enjoyment went. I really wanted to like this soap because I have been looking for natural skincare, but this soap and matching toner made my skin burn. My chin got really red and flakey. I stopped using it a few days ago and I am still trying to get my skin back to normal. It is just way too strong and I also got bumps on my forehead.

Ok I don't have alot of acne anymore but I still have oil skin if I don't use good products. This soap is the only cleanser I have found in twenty five years that guarantees removed every stitch of makeup on my face and cleans and tones. Plus I never get zits anymore. I use it in combination with an alpha lotion wash, but that one alone does not get makeup off. It is great to use in combination. I gave it to my neice who liked it for her breakouts, and I gave it to my older sister, who raves about it too now and she's fifty-one. I must have this soap. Even if you spend ten times, and I have believe me, you won't find better.

I like this product. I like the tomato scent, very natural. It makes my skin very clean. I woould recommend it for those who has oily/ acne-prone skin!
