I wanted this to work so I can stop using harsh cleansers, but unfortunately it did not work on for me.

My skin isn't super-troubled, but combination with occasional breakouts. I can't say that this product miraculously cured my blemishes, but I can say that it has improved the overall condition of my skin; less oily and looks healthier. Also, the smell is really not so bad--it's similar to your average spicy hand soap, nothing offensive. Lasts surprisingly long for a bar soap.

If you have very oily skin this is a great soap. In the summertime when I sweat alot, etc. I used this and it is wonderful. The smell is not the best, but who cares, it is natural and it helps my skin.

I used to use this for my blemish-prone combination skin. It's very disappointing; smells strong and irritated my skin to the point of causing breakouts! Try Alba or philosophy...they both have MUCH better, effective skin care lines!

This is the best facial cleanser I have ever used. I have sensitive, combination/oily skin and last year I began having bad acne breakouts. I tried everything I could think of -- including consulting a dermatologist and topical prescription medications. I refused to take oral antibiotics for this problem, which was my physician's "best" option. I saw this at a local natural foods store and figured I had nothing to use. I saw obvious results within THREE of daily use and friends and family noticed as well. I recently stopped using it because I was trying something cheaper... in a few weeks, I started having breakouts again. This is sooo worth the price tag and I love the fact that it does not have harsh chemicals. A cheaper alternative is Basis, but I like this soap better. P.S. - If you get this soap in your eyes it stings like crazy!!

This soap worked at first (not extremely well, though). I kept on using the soap but then I realized the breakouts I had when I started using it weren't going away. I decided to stop using the soap for awhile to see what would happen. After using the soap, my breakouts went completely away. So, basically, the soap did nothing for me.

I didn't mind the smell, I kind of liked it. I got it from the good reviews for my oily and acne-prone skin. It seems as though I always have at least a few pimples. Well, at the time I got this I had a patch of acne on my cheek that wouldn't go away, and I give this two stars for clearing up that particular area. I won't buy again though, and can't even use it on my forehead. My forehead broke out, covering almost the entire area and was red and irritated until I stopped using it there. I still use it on my cheeks, but no where else. I am looking for something else.

Basically did nothing for my oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin. It doesn't smell too great either, unless you really like to smell like a veggie garden. I much prefer Dove Sensitive skin bar, it's cheaper too.

I will never change soaps. Completely cleared my skin. Watch out though. . .it burns the eyes. I love the way it smells. Follow up with the toner.
