I'm not sure what issues that the negative reviewer had (really sensitive skin maybe, or pushing too hard??), but these are my favorite razors. I have sensitive skin but am Italian so have thick hair that grows back very quickly (SO annoying!), and these work GREAT! I have tried expensive razors (like brand names, Venus, etc.), and they are a pain in the butt that don't do the job. These, on the other hand, are inexpensive and work very well! I find that if I want a super close shave, I have to change the razor once a month at least (I probably shave every 3 days or so), but it's worth it to get a close shave that doesn't leave a lot of bumps and/or nicks. They are awesome!

I am not a snob about razors. I've used some pretty cheap ones in my day when trying to scrimp and save. May have gotten some cuts here and there with the Bic single blades, but never experienced the irritation I did with these. These are the worst razors I've ever used. Even with my super-moisturizing, expensive shave cream, these felt horrible dragging over my skin and left razor bumps and brush burn-like scratches.

Razors are just getting so expensive these days so I decided to take a chance on these store brand, and I'm so glad I did! The 5 blades work great, they travel well, they last long, and they don't have all the annoying "extras" that so many women's razors have these days. Just a simple, straightforward product that gets the job done for a great price. This is my new go-to.
