Please follow these important steps to ensure optimal brewing results:

Don't overfill:  Overfilling can result in a poor internal turbulence, uneven coffee exploitation & a weak extraction. 2/3 to 3/4 full is recommended.

Use a standard drip grind:  Ground coffee that is meant for use in flat bottom paper filter is recommended.  Too fine of a coffee grind can restrict flow or result in no flow at all.  Too coarse of a coffee grind & water will flow through too quickly resulting in a weak coffee extraction.

Grinding:  When grinding whole beans, use a professional or home burr grinder.  Avoid "blade" or "chop" grinders as they cannot produce a uniform particulate size.

Use fresh ground coffee:  Use the freshest coffee you can.  To keep coffee fresh, put in an opaque, airtight container & store in a cool, dry place.  Do not store coffee in the refrigerator.

A good fit:  Your Ekobrew Elite should fit easily in the filter holder of your Keurig.  Never force the Keurig to close after inserting.  By placing the Ekobrew Elite straight in, the grips should drop easily into place.  If you cannot close the brewer housing without resistance, check the incompatibility list below.

Before you use your Ekobrew Elite, wash & rinse thoroughly with hot water & a non-abrasive detergent.  Hot After Use.  Remove Ekobrew Elite from brewer using plastic heat grips only.  Cool with water or wait one full minute before handling.  The Ekobrew Elite is made from 100% lead & BPA free stainless steel.  Stainless steel conducts heat very efficiently.  That means that your Ekobrew Elite will be extremely hot after usage.  We recommend that you allow the Ekobrew Elite to remain in the brewer for 30 to 45 seconds before removing it for cleaning.  When the unit is removed, always make sure that you handle it by the heat dispersion grips located on the sides of the Ekobrew Elite.  Avoid contact with the stainless steel body of the Ekobrew Elite until it has remained under cold running water for at least 5 seconds.

3 Easy Steps to Great Coffee:

1) Open Ekobrew Elite lid & fill 2/3 - 3/4 with the ground coffee of your choice.  Adjust the amount in order to find your ideal brew strength.  A standard drip grind for flat bottom filters is recommended for best results.

2) Close lid of Ekobrew Elite firmly & insert into Keurig filter holder.  Be sure there are no grounds between the lid & rim when closing.  There's no need to remove filter holder!  Use your machine exactly as you would if you were using a standard K-Cup pack.

3) Close Keurig clamshell housing, select cup size & brew.
