This worked well to refresh my carpet (I have two cats), but the bottle only lasted for my one bedroom apartment with a tiny bit left. It's definitely not an expensive product, but I don't like the idea of having to buy multiple bottles for multiple uses. I'd prefer if it came in a bigger bottle. And if you have a bigger place, you'll definitely need more than one bottle.

Shake container vigorously before use. Sprinkle on entire carpet, wait 15 minutes, then vacuum thoroughly. For best results, use every time you vacuum. For especially tough odors or deep ground-in dirt, sprinkle heavily on carpet & take a clean soft bristle brush & brush powder thoroughly into carpet. Wait thirty minutes & then vacuum. You can also use this product on upholstered furniture, automobile carpets, auto upholstery & in garbage disposals & garbage cans. Do not use on wet or damp carpets. Product is not designed to remove deep stains. Before use, test hidden area of carpet for color fastness. Mix 1/2 tablespoon of product in 1/2 cup of water & pour small amount on carpet. Let dry, vacuum & check carpet. If the color is affected, do not use.
