This may not be labeled to help psoriasis. But this product has slowed the progress of moderate flare ups and faded some break out areas til they are barely noticeable.
Very pleased and love the fresh clean scent.

I like to use non-soap body products without sulfates which is better for the skin. This body wash delivers for a reasonable price. Actually it is a bit thick so I water it down a little which makes it easier to dispense and lasts longer.

First off I never had back acne in high school, but once I hit college I started getting minor pimples on my back so I purchased Neutrogena's body wash (salicyclic acne treatment) and it actually turned my minor case of back acne to a severe case. My back was extremely irritated and after a month I threw it away. This was actually more of my fault. I was using the body wash twice a day along with two other body washes daily.

Now, in late 2013, still with sever back acne, I wanted to try Neutrogena's body wash again because their sensitive face products worked so well for me. I have used this body wash faithfully every day for roughly 9 months (two bottles worth) and I have to say my back acne is clear! I have maybe one or two new pimples a week and I still have scars all over my back, but gone is the pain of many daily fresh pimples. The product does work but you have to stick with it. My back is very sensitive so I only use it in the morning and if I shower at night, I use my regular body wash. Also my back gets pretty dry after using this body wash, so I put regular lotion on my back every day. I'm pretty flexible so I can cover most of my back (use a very thin layer of lotion to prevent clogging of pores).


Also I recommend washing your towel every 4-7 days and wash your sheets every two weeks. Also if you're a big undershirt wearer, get a set of 7 undershirts (or more) and wear a different one every day! This along with neutrogena's body wash has helped my back become clear. And be patient and keep the faith!

I started using this over regular soap many years ago and saw a reduction of acne (on back and face and too many other places) of maybe 50-75%. I still use it at age 32. The sacacilic (sp) acid is very effective.

I use neutrogena for just about everything: daily moisturizer, daily cleanser, salicyclic acid acne face wash, makeup, foundation, lipgloss, etc. However, I was sorely disappointed with this product. In short, it does not do what it says. It doesn't clear the skin of even the most mild case of body acne. It doesn't smell especially good, or lather especially well, or last especially long. In this case, the brand name does not justify the price. I would love to recommend instead St Ives' Naturally Clear Green Tea body wash range ($5-$6 per bottle, same size and shape as the Neutrogena under review). Sadly, it seems to be discontinued or at least nearly impossible to find. Drugstore.com, can you find it and stock it?

I use this everyday, and it cleared up by bacne like a charm! I was worried it would dry out my skin because I have very dry skin to start with, but I've been using it for about six months and I've never had a problem with it! There's not much of a scent to it, but I'm okay with that because I'd rather have no scent than a bad scent.

I have been using this product since my teen years and I've been zit-free since then. I'm 38 yrs. old now, and I continue the use because the minute I stop using it, both my back and chest area start breaking out. Arrrrgh! I thought zits were only for teens but I guess that's a myth! I highly recommed the use of this product for anyone who is looking to get rid of their body zits. Also, I did not care so much for the one with scrubs because I noticed the scrubs actually make the zits break and the infection spreads, and it doesn't get any better, trust me! Who knows, there might be someone out there who actually thinks otherwise though. For me, I'm a very happy camper with this one, and I'm sticking with this one for a very long while.

I like this as a body wash and within a week, I noticed improvements to acne on my back. I tried to use it as an all-over wash (face) but wouldn't recommend that. It's a bit harsh for the face.
