 I also use Neutrogena Oil ...by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 8/26/06I also use Neutrogena Oil Free Acne (face) wash... the Body Wash has same active ingredients (2% salicylic acid), and you get more product for the same price as the face wash. A few people say the Body Wash is slightly rougher on the skin, but I can't tell much difference in results. I give it 4 stars because I personally think the face wash smells slightly better. I use it 4 or 5 times a week (face and body) and it does seems to reduce acne significantly. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Until I tried Neutrogena's Body Clear body Wash.
For me, it's like a miracle. It got rid of my body acne within a week, and it's kept it away. Not only that, it's fragrance-free (as far as I'm concerned)--for those with more sensitive noses, I'll just say the scent isn't obnoxious. A little bit foams up into a nice lather and it leaves me feeling fresh and clean. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Desperate, I searched drugstore.com for a solution, and picked Neutrogena's Body Clear Body Wash. Not only did it retard the break-out within a week, my skin has never looked better! I wash my entire body with it (after first cleansing with a bar soap) and I've never seen it look this clear and even-toned. A dime-sized squirt explodes into lather and, as far as I'm concerned, it's fragrance-free -- no medicinal smell at all. It rinses clean and my skin doesn't feel tight or dry even though I've been using it every day. This body wash has earned a permanent place in my shower. | This is a nice body wash. ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/17/06This is a nice body wash. It makes my skin feel clean and soft without over-drying. As far as improving my body acne, it really hasn't done that great of a job. There was slight improvement after I finished the first bottle, but then I made the mistake of buying the scrub the second time and I think my acne is just getting irritated again. Salicylic acid itself is a BHA exfoliant, so I don't think the addition of tiny pieces of plastic in the scrub is doing me any favors. Outbreaks would frequently come and go, and leave ugly scars. I used this product for 2 months straight and had only one pimple appear on my shoulder. I stopped using it, and one week later, I'm breaking out again. It may not work for all, but it works great on me. I use about a half cap full on my body scrub, and that's all I need. It's got a high smell, which I don't like that much and also it's really thick to remove out of the bottle you have to give the bottle a real tight squeeze.  Neutrogena products don't ...by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 8/5/05Neutrogena products don't usually work for me; I like Clean & Clear better, but since Clean & Clear doesnt have acne body wash, I decided to give this one a try. It had almost no affect on my bacne, but my skin wasn't as oily after using this product. Now I'm ordering Phisoderm and I hope it works better. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I wanted to buy a body ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/29/05I wanted to buy a body wash that helped rid my back of the few minor zits near my shoulders. To be honest, I didn't really notice much of a difference. Also, I didn't like the smell either. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't something I'd continue to pay for. Plus, it's REALLY thick and hard to squeeze out. I'd look for an alternative (such as the body SCRUB) before I buy this. |
