no more itchy scalp

In the winter I find myself washing my hair more often because my scalp is dry and flaky. I started using this product and immediately noticed the itchiness went away, and the flakes are gone. I don't use it very often, and it still works!

As with the conditioner, I think those who comment negatively on the scent have never experienced pure tea tree oil. I find the scent to be very mild and love this product! It has helped my itchy scalp and I'd definitel buy it again.

My only complaint is the product's scent is slightly "baby"like-- very powdery. (It is the same scent as JASON's tea tree body wash) I think this shampoo out-performs Paul Mitchell's tea tree products, however, PM has harnessed a more earthy, botanical scent that's slightly more grown-up.

This is a great shampoo for dandruff, scalp irritations, or even normal hair. It relieved my dandruff and itching scalp. It worked even better than Head and Shoulders and Neutrogena T-gel. My hair looked and felt clean and healthy. I used it first thing in the morning and my scalp didn't itch once all day -- and there were no flakes. This is now one of my favorite shampoos!

I have had an unexplainable dry scalp for a while now. Which is why I decided to try this. It actually works quite well and has pretty much taken care of my problem with some great gentle natural ingredients. I feel it smells disgusting though, like bug spray. I keep using it cause it works, thenI use a pretty smelling conditioner and products. But once it;s gone, Im sure I won;t use it again due to the smell.

I love this shampoo and have gone through several bottles over the past year and a half. As several people have stated, it does not lather as well as other shampoos. Part of the reason is because it does not have SLS in it, which is an emulsifier. If you read the directions, it tells you to lather up twice. The second lather is definitely foamier. It has a mild scent and is the first shampoo I have ever tried that actually got rid of my itchy scalp. I now believe that my itch and dandruff were due to irritation to ingredients found in normal shampoos. I've had the problem for as long as I can remember, tried dandruff shampoos, mild shampoos, etc. and it never went away. After a few days of this, I noticed that the itch and flakes were gone and haven't come back. It also leaves my hair soft and shiny. I follow up with Aussie conditioner, and my hair and scalp are in better condition than they have been in years. I will continue to buy it.

I'm in Houston, TX (hot, hot, hot) and I have seborrhea (not a good combo). I have a wonderful dermatologist who I see when I need to and he would give me oral Nizoral to clear it up...this treatment would work for literally years at a time. Fast forward to this year and I found out that they no longer make oral Nizoral and I was forced to try the generic. Didn't work at all, and I was heart broken. This shampoo is the only thing (and I've tried it all, even the Rx Nizoral poo and Clobex poo, etc.) that keeps my mess of a scalp under control. Flakes the size of my thumb nail don't make good impressions and I am so blessed to have found this!!!! Please try it! Only reason it's not a perfect score is because nothing beats oral Nizoral for my seborrhea.
