I was looking for an alternative to prescription shampoos for seborrhoeic eczema (generally effects adults 20 to 40; usually seen on scalp as dandruff but can spread to face, ears, and chest, where skin becomes red, inflamed, and starts to flake). I have had mixed results in the past using other natural and homeopathic products. This shampoo, however, is amazing! It works much better than the prescription shampoo. I get the best results by leaving the lather on for five minutes or more while I shave, and do this two to three times a week. On other days, I use either another shampoo for variety, or use this shampoo, but don't leave it on longer than normal. You can also spread the lather over the surrounding area on your face, and it also helps to clear up the red patches there. The natural antibacterial and antifungal properties of tea tree oil have brought my eczema well under control! The value of the price and size of the bottle is fantastic as well.

I love this product. This shampoo helped my scalp dramatically without the harsh chemicals traditional medicated shampoos have. The first week or so my hair seemed a little dry, but then it seemed to normalize with continued use. I actually like this smell and personally refuse to use commercial products full of synthetic fragrances. If you are looking for botanical scents and immediate results, stick with commercial products but use them at your own risk...natural products require a period of adjustment but they are definitely better in the long run than their chemical-laden counterparts. I use this shampoo with the tea tree conditioner which I leave on for as long as it takes to wash and then shave my legs in the shower. It improves manageability and leaves a great shine.

I used to use pyrithione zinc products for dandruff control, but they quit working for me. I just started using Jason, and it makes my scalp feel great. It instantly soothes and seems to be preventing flaking. It smells great also. It isn't an overwhelming tea tree smell like Paul Mitchell. The tea tree aroma is subtle and mixed with a nice array of botanical aromas from the other extracts. I highly recommend this product.

I have oily hair, so I like this product for its astringent qualities. My hair comes out sparkling clean. I use Amplify for increased Volume, but use this product first to cut the "grease", grime, and product buildup. I deducted 1 star because product seems to lack "sudsing" strength. Hence, I have to use a larger quantity to do the job.

This stuff really dried out my hair and made it break off and fall out easy, so I stopped after a couple weeks. Also it has a strong fragrance I would rather do without.
