I have had thin hair for most of my life, and am self concious about it. Being a female and worried about going bald, I have tried just about everything (pills, shampoos). Nothing seemed to ever really work. I tried this shampoo/conditioner combo over a year ago, while gone for 4.5 mos, and when I returned home many people commented that my hair looked thicker. Mostly I noticed that the shedding of my newer hairs had pretty much stopped. I ran out of shampoo, and my hair started shedding like crazy for about 6 m. I ordered more about 4 months ago, and i am currently on my second bottle. Shedding stopped about half way through this bottle, and I am never going without the shampoo again! The conditioner wasn't very good; so I use Giovanni 50:50 which is amazing. One bad thing for me was that my scalp broke out for the first month or so (I wash every day b/c my hair gets so oily after a day), but I assume that was the cleansing action of the shampoo.worth a try for those of you that have lost hope, just stick with it; it may work!

I had not bought this in a long time. This was the first time, since the packaging changed. Evidently the formula must have changed, because it does not thicken my very thin baby fine hair anymore (but it used to before the bottle was changed).

I've been using this shampoo for probably 3 weeks now and I do see improvement. I don't see as much hair loss as before. Before I would see a lot of hair around my sink area where I comb my hair but now I don't see "as much".
The formula is really thick and it takes some arm muscle to squeeze out the shampoo from the bottle. The thing I really hate about the product is the strong smell! It has a really earthy, green smell to it that is really strong.

This shampoo has a smell similar to those with tea tree oil, but not unpleasant. Lathering work best with hair very wet, not just a quick dunk under the shower head. I try to leave the product on my head for longer than usual, even bundling my hair in a towel and letting it stay on for 30 minutes or so and the longer the conditioner stays on my hair, the softer and fluffier it looks when dry. Menopause is wreaking havoc on my hair, so I have been looking for something that would help it look fuller. My hair is baby fine and very straight, but I was pleased with the slightly fuller look that I got after using this Jason product just once.

We use this on our daughters hair, started out for my husband but he wasn't as happy with this. Does not rinse out well at all. Doesn't smell horrible but not exactly a nice fragrance either.

I am a black female with natural/permed hair. I am in the process of growing out my natural hair after relaxing for many years. I have not relaxed my hair in almost a year. I have tried so many products and wasted so much money when all I needed was this shampoo and conditioner set. It leaves my hair soft, manageable and easy to comb. I love this product so much that I have already ordered more for fear of running out! The price is great and I just can't say how much I love it!

I love this shampoo, it worked the first day I tried it. I bought it at my local grocery store, but they didn't have the conditioner. The conditioner I use right now weighs down my hair (only using it till I get the conditioner for this shampoo). Other than that it smells wonderful and I can tell a difference when using this shampoo.
On wet hair, gently massage shampoo into hair and scalp. Rinse and repeat if desired. Follow with Jason Thin to Thick Extra Volume Conditioner. Use within 18 months.
