I have been using this product for over 10 years and it works great. I started using it after going off the birth control pill since my face and back broke out horribly. If used daily, it works great to prevent future breakouts. I recommend using a body or face puff with it for even better results. Neutrogena also has a similar product without the exfoliating beads in it and it does not work as well, and smells horrible. This could have a better scent and have a better cap on it (the product is very hard to squeeze out). I would have given it 5 stars if it was not for those two factors. If you store the bottle upside down, it will be easier to dispense.

this product never really worked for me. I suffer from mild back acne. i will say that i did not suffer any massive break outs while using this, but my back never fully cleared up and i still had the occasional big zit and almost always had tiny little pimples/bumps here and there. at times my back felt excessively dry which was very uncomfortable, especially since the desired effect of clear skin never really happened. i dont mind suffering for my beauty, but this product was all suffer and no gain.

I love this gritty body wash for problem spots like my back. I feel like it's more thorough than a regular cleaner, and it helps clear up blemishes that crop up. It's very thick and doesn't slide right off like other body washes; I really feel like it's getting in there and cleaning my skin!

If you stopped here and are considering buying this product please keep looking. I have battled acne on my back for nearly 50 years now. I purchased this product thinking it would really help. After one use I was stunned to find my acne MUCH worse and it also spread down my arms to my wrists! I have since done periodic "tests" on this product and all I can say is that it CAUSES severe acne! The suspended polymner bits rip your skin and every one of those tears becomes a pimple by the next morning. I am sitting here right now with the worst case of acne on my arms I have ever seen on anyone. In fact tomorrow I am seeing a dermatologist to try and clear this up. Steer clear, errr, RUN from this product! The only thing it is good for is to clean your hands. I have replaced all my hand soap dispensers with the bottles of this product I purchased here at Drugstore.com. It is fantastic at cleaning hands. That's about it............

As a teen I had mild shoulder/upper back acne. I tried this a few times over the yers and I never had any luck with it clearing up my skin.
I used it repeatedly anyway because it helped exfoliate my gritty teen skin and had a nice scent to it.
Fortunately I grew out of uneven skin because this product didn't work for me.

I started to use this product,5 years ago when i tried the self tanning spray!!! and the self tanning spray did not work, this was awsome, my skin was soft and smooth and I get complements all the time!!!. I will not use anything else.!!!

I bought this for my fiance. He has horrible acne all over his body. This is the only thing that has worked. I can tell when he uses it because his skin clears up and he looks good. His only gripe is it smells a little too feminine. I agree, but for how well this works I'm not knocking it.

I purchased this product as a daily wash and scrub combination - and it works quite well for that. I have sensitive, easily irritated, and acne-prone skin, and this product works great.
It never irritates my skin, has a pleasant smell and great lather, is easy to store and dispense due to the bottle shape, and it seems to improve the texture and condition of my skin through gentle exfoliation - and I use it from neck to toe (but not on my face or sensitive areas!).
I've used other scrubs and products with salicylic acid before, but this one seems to work best for full body use, and is easiest to use.

I have been using this body scrub for years. I started having very moderate chest and back acne and tried several different brands before settling on the body scrub. I tried the regular acne body wash and it did nothing for me. It was like using the face wash on my chest with no results. The scrub is not irritating or drying and within a week of starting it my chest is clearing up. I even went through a horrible year where I could not stop the acne on my chest and nothing helped but they have since cleared up and the scrub is slowly but surely clearing up the acne scars it left behind. I have very acne prone skin and am still trying to find something that works for my face and have been so desperate as to try this on my face but the scrubbies were way too harsh for it. I find it works great on the tougher skin of my back and chest and since I use lots of conditioner on my hair I always use this last right before I get out. It leaves my skin feeling clean. The only thing I hate is that since I started using it the price has gone up 3 bucks!! You cant put a price on clear skin though and I love it. This goes with me anywhere I go overnight and use it everyday. It is a must have!
