I was skeptical at first but I tried it out and at first, it was drying on my skin. I used it all over my body. After speaking with my friend again, we decided to just use the Neutrogena Body Clear Scrub only on problem areas like my chest first and then follow with my daily moisturizing shower gel. I can tell you that I have not had a break out since using the product and the discoloration of previous acne problems are fading too!!
The product works very well. I have tried other similar products which are produced by designer skincare companies like Murad. They worked but they cost way too much money compared with Neutrogena. Great product at affordable prices. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I've been using this for two years now and like many other products it won't instantly clear up your back, but within 2-3 months it helped smooth my back and the acne was gone. I've been using it everyday since and breakouts are rare and few. Give the product a try for a couple months and see how it works for you, because it won't immediately clear up your skin. Benzoyl peroxide soaps didn't do anything, so I've bought this cleanser hoping for a change. I thought maybe there was some improvement, but after using the product for over a year I'm forced to admit there is no difference at all. I'm almost thirty, have a clear face, but have red marks all over my shoulders. Back acne is very tough to treat because the skin there is so oily and sweaty. No cleanser has ever worked for me -- maybe it's time to move onto topical treatments. I'm giving it two stars on the off chance there was a small improvement, and because it's a fine cleanser in its own right. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

 If you have body acne ...by Trisha Ann in Undisclosed on 10/10/05If you have body acne caused by a hormonal imbalance, a simple body wash isn't going to clear it up completely, not even with daily use. A lot of the people who gave this product a bad review, I'm guessing, fall into that category. As for the ones who complained about its consistency and difficulty in getting it out of the bottle, they're idiots. All I do and all you have to do -- to get it out -- is keep the bottle upside down and periodically squeeze the opposite sides to allow air in. And it's an acne treatment scrub -- it should be thick and leave a slight film on your skin.
Usage Tip: Apply it with a loofah to get a good lather and regularly change/disinfect your loofah...bacteria. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
