I color my hair with L'Oreal Excellence with great results so I was extremely disappointed when this shampoo and conditioner dried my hair out. I would not buy it again and ended up throwing them both out.

My hair is shoulder length, fine, coarse with some gray.

I really like this shampoo - it smells nice, lathers just right, makes my hair feel healthy. Gives my fine hair lots of volume, but does not work any better than any other "color-treated hair" shampoo I've tried in keeping my hair color from fading. I will say, it DOES work as well as salon color shampoos I've tried, so it could just be that red hair color fades quickly!
