This works great for me. I use it in the shower. I use it on my face down to my chest and leave it on for a minute before rinsing. I'm 57 and get compliments all the time.

I belong to Oily skin types and have visible pores on cheeks. After I apply the cleanser twice daily, I haven't seen any improvement it has done to my skin! I wouldn't recommend this product to those who have large pores.

At age 53 I still have huge, oily pores. This line was recommended by an aesthician. Within 2 days there was a noticible difference in my skin. I use the Pore Refing Cleanser and Toner morning and evening and I look years younger!!

This will burn your eyes so be careful and have another method for eye makeup removal on hand. The microbeads are gentle enough for daily use but I would still think twice about exfoliating with a scrub everyday. Seems to leave a film on my skin but nothing a toner can't fix. I might use this once or twice a week for manual and chemical exfoliation in one tube.

I had high hopes for this product, thinking that it would be ideal in summertime, especially after I worked out in the gym for a long time. However, I really was not impressed; in fact, after using this product I started getting terrible breakouts on my chin, which I have no gotten...well, ever. It may have been my hormones or other reasons, but I kind of place blame on this product. It didn't help clear it up...in fact, I had to go to a Dermatologist to get it clear. It might work for some, but for me it wasn't the best. Plus, I could never use this when I had eye make up on (which is all the time), therefore it had limited use.

I have like 8 backups of this cleanser hoarded away. I go through one tube a month because this is the ONLY cleanser I use on my oily, acne prone skin - it smoothes my skin, reduces clogged pores, lightens dark spots and pigmentation (like from acne scars), and overall makes my skin glow. The combination of AHA and BHA is very effective but in a low enough concentration to not dry out your skin or cause peeling. I love this cleanser and it's dirt cheap too.

I happened upon this product by accident -- I tried it while staying at a friend's house. That was more than 5 years ago, and though I sometimes "experiment" with other cleansers, I make sure I always have a tube of Neutrogena Pore Refining Cleanser in my bathroom. My skin is sensitive and somewhat dry, yet surprisingly, this cleanser leaves my skin feeling smooth and supple, not dry, tight or flaky. Also, one tube lasts an amazingly long time -- a small amount of product is all you need. Be sure to apply moisturizer afterwards for optimal results; use one with SPF 15 or higher if going outside. I prefer Neutrogena's Pore Refining Cream or Olay Complete.

I tried this product instead of the invisibly even foam cleanser. Simply because it is bigger tube therefore cheaper and I would like to refine my pores. I also noticed that the products of Neutrogena with alpha hydroxy really clear my skin. Wow, I was not disappointed. In fact this cleanser removed my make up really fast and made my face feel so soft and smooth. I just started using it so I don't know about the pore refining results yet. But so far I have not broken out and it does not dry out my skin as other cleansers can do. I will continue using it knowing that when it comes to Neutrogena products it takes a while to see results.

This has been my cleanser for 4 years now. I have tried other cleansers and was not satisfied. I'm 42, but my skin texture is as smooth as when I was in my 20's. My pores are minimized and my skin is never flaky; this product really exfoliates well. I also think it has helped prevent wrinkles although it is not advertised as a wrinkle reducer.
