I do NOT recommend this product if you have type 2b hair, it left it greasy and left a lot of buildup, and made my curls look awful. I will not be repurchasing.

I have permed hair and at first this seemed to work fine, but my hair got drier and drier and frizzier after buying a second tube of the shampoo and conditioner to use. My hairdresser even commented that my hair was very dry. I've since switched to really cheap moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and my hair is SO much better, softer, and prettier.

This conditioner is a great compliment to the EverCurl Hydracharge Shampoo. It doesn't have a ton of slip, so you may feel like you want to use more than necessary, but your hair will be moisturized with a normal amount. I use a quarter size (hair is mid-back length), comb through, and leave it in for about 3 minutes. I used my old conditioner for a few days to see if there was a difference and the old conditioner weighed my hair down a lot. This conditioner gives the right amount of moisture, without weight, which helps my waves form during styling.

After shampooing will use this just past the roots of my hair all over. Keep it on in shower for about 5 minutes, rinse out. Then I'll apply my curl creme/gel of choice. Usually I air dry my hair, but occasionally I'll diffuse it dry if pressed for time.
