I like the smell, for sure . . . I'm used to a Pantene smell with every shampoo, and this is a bit different/fresher. I am surprised how CLEAN my hair is after using this product, almost squeaky clean, which made me wary at first - but then I follow with a standard conditioner (Herbal Essences of some sort) and it's not dry or unhappy in any way when it dries. It's a thorough clean, close to a buildup remover, so my hair is bouncy afterwards.
