Pros: This tool does a great job on my hair, in short time. Sturdily built, nice long power cord. Cons: It squeaks when I use it; I couldn't use it in Italy, while I could use my cheap Conair; it has no automatic timed shutoff, unlike my cheap Conair.

I sectioned my hair in small sections, lightly spritzed with my ApHogee Keratin & Green Tea Reconstructurizer, and went for it! I do think that the design of it is a little bit squeaky but the only thing I care about are the results! Thanks FHI and drugstore.com for delivery of a great flat iron that greatly reduces the course frizzy-ness of my not-so-healthy ethnic hair. The price was absolutely amazing as well! I guess that makes me feel even better about purchasing another FHI! I have been a faithful FHI user for 7 years and counting!
