I apply my makeup and powder first. Then, because this is so light, I first apply this pink blush. Then I apply other blushes that I have which are darker. This light colored base does kind of take the edge off of these others that are darker. I like that. But, by itself, this blush is way to light for me. I can barely see it. I do really like the little application brushes that Almay packages with their blush and powders. And, I do love the fact that this blush has no smell at all.

This has tiny sparkles in it that look like minature sequins. It is impossible to get the right color. Had to rewash my brush because it has so many sparkles. Do not waste your money on this. Illumination is great but to use these particles is something I don't want!

This takes a minute to show up. At first I thought it was too light for my light/medium skin tone but after a minute it became a nice natural looking cheek color .

This is the best blush ever. Color can be built up to desired intensity. Can be buffed down if you get too much. Looks natural. Not chalky. Price is certainly right! I chose shade 10-pink/rose and it's just right for my fair skin with blue undertones.
