I use this every day and receive compliments on how smooth my skin is. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy. I really wanted an alpha hydroxy product that doesn't burn and this passed the test. Finally, I have been incorporating only products that are not animal tested into my beauty routine and this is one of my best choices yet.

Love this one - unlike other AHA-type things which are very watery and irritating, this one is thick (so easy to put on), but NOT greasy. I use it for KP - it seems to help a bit and DOESN'T dry out my skin/irritate it like other lotions would.
Be aware though, that the bottle is quite small, but goes a long way.

As per the comment below, the botanical infusion listed "previously" is the ingredient in the Aromatherapy line of this same product. The regular non-Aromatherapy line doesn't, as it says below. Hope this helps... don't see the Aromatherapy version on this website. Try [@]

I used to love the formula for this lotion listed on drugstore.com and would buy this up when it would go on sale or I had a coupon. I finally got to the latest bottle I had on hand of this from this website and had been using it, but felt it was not doing quite the same as it before on my skin.Upon perusing the ingredient list I found that the ingredient list is different on the most recent bottle I received compared to the previous bottles and the on this site. One big change isHYDROXYETHYL ACRYLATEhttp://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ingredient/703052/HYDROXYETHYL_ACRYLATE/and sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer as one of the highest volume ingredients in this formulation rather than their usual botanical infusions.I try to avoid acrylates at all costs and the version here is listed (it's a 5) higher for immunotoxicity than I want in a product (3 or under)The second chemical mentioned, sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, appears to not have enough information on it which is even less comforting to me to put on my face.Why was the formula changed and why is it not reflected in the website. I am upset at both companies for this change and lack of ingredient listing updating.

I have keratosis pilaris on the back of my arms and have been looking for a less expensive, more natural alternative to the usual products marketed for this condition. My doctor prescribed ammonium lactate 12% lotion, but I hated how it smelled and took forever to absorb. I also tried Eucerin Plus Intensive Repair Body Creme, which I read could help with KP, but it caused an eczema flare-up. I've read good reviews of DermaDoctor's KP Duty lotion, but I couldn't justify the price. This product costs half as much, and I can't imagine a much more effective lotion for KP. I've been using it 1-2 times a day on the back of my arms for almost a month, and it definitely smooths my skin and reduces the redness. It has a medicinal smell that I don't especially like, but it's not overpowering, and the lotion absorbs really quickly -- MUCH better than the ammonium lactate lotion. Plus, it's gentle; no eczema flare-ups. First product I've purchased for KP that I will re-purchase.

I'm in love with this lotion! First of all it smells wonderful!! An herbal fruitiness that I wish I could wear as perfume. It is an outstanding moisturizer and treatment lotion. I use it once daily and my skin has shown a huge improvement in just a few weeks. My skin is softer and I'm starting to see my sun spots fade. My wrinkles are smoother too. When I apply it I feel a tingly sensation for the first few minutes which is a sign that the AHA is doing its magic. It is a little pricey but if you catch it on sale it is well worth the cost!

I use a number of BWC products and was interested in buying this for a while. After reading the reviews and talking to my esthetician, I was sold. I have mild rosacea and its really helped with the redness and scars. I love this lotion! Using it once at night is perfect for my skin. It's completely changed my skin and I have hooked multiple friends into using it already!

This product works on my fine lines and wrinkles about the same as other 8% AHA lotions, but what sets BWC apart from other brands is :

- The natural ingredients in the carrier lotion absorb nicely into the skin, the lotion is not to heavy or "sweaty" on the skin.

- Gentle, I have slight rosacea, BWC does not make my skin red or irritated.

-This is truely a "Natural" brand, many other brands market themselves as natural, but still contain harmfull ingedients,

Now that I am no longer desensitized to the harsh smell of chemically engineered fragrances.
I actually like the natural smell of this, and other non-toxic products.

I Love this lotion. It feels great . It only takes about a dime amount for the face if I use too much it is sticky . It really does soften skin and keeps it nice.It's a little pricey but last quite a while if used in moderation. I would like it if they made this lotion in a big big bottle so I would have enough for my whole body, but this is good enough for me.
