I use as a night balm. No fragrance or weird taste. The color ( sweet violet) is so insignificant that it doesn't transfer to my pillow. Feels smooth and moisturizing, not waxy.
I bought the violet and the color is subtle but pretty. Consistency is thin and a bit greasy but not "icky" sticky. Feels soothing and the hint of color is very wearable for daily activities, even work. However, by mid-morning I'm reaching for the Kiehl's No. 1 lip balm or the good old-fashioned Vasoline to moisturize my lips. By then the Burt's Bees feels dry and even chips a bit. I don't expect my lip gloss/lipstick to last all day so this is par for the course.
It's very greasy and has the possibility to be runny. The color is nice and it does moisturize. I just don't like that it never quite sinks in. It sits on your lips very delicately. I wish it was thicker.
