I started using these because I was getting sick from using non-organic/bleached tampons and pantiliners. They work well for me and I haven't had any issues since with illness related to menstrual supplies. They aren't as absorbent as non-organic super tampons, however, and I do have to change them more often.

The product lasts for 3 to 4 hours. The cotton doesn't expand so, the blood leaks out, One of the tampons was so uncomfortable I had to take it out. I will never purchase these again.

Why wouldn't we use organic, natural products for our "time of the month?" I love these tampons, they are absorbent, and effective. I use both the regular and the super, and have been using them for about 8 years. I will never go back to other brands.

These work just as well as any conventional brand I have tried -- plenty absorbent, and the applicator works just fine. Better for my health and better for the planet. Good choice!

I have always experienced burning in my vagina & inner lips around the 3rd day of my period that lasted for several days every month. I just lived with it.Then I found out that the burning was caused by the bleached cotton used in most tampons ! I have not had any burning or discomfort since I switched to Natracare organic tampons! I will never go back!

Comfortable fit and really would not want to use this type product if it could not be all cotton.

I use this product on my heavy days.

It's a great product, all natural, non toxic and easy to insert. You give up NO conveniences.

I wish this product came in a Extra Super Size because I have to rely on the nasty toxic products for overnight when I'm heavy. I also wish it came in the small junior size for my extra light days. But for "regular" and "super" days this product is EXCELLENT>

I am happy that there are natural unbleached products and biodegradable applicators available but these are very difficult to insert--the cardboard applicator does not yield when trying to advance the cotton.
So it's sometimes a clumsy situation where it would have been better off without an applicator.
They also occasionally allow leaking before being full, I think because they don't expand as much, as someone else mentioned.
There once was an excellent version of another brand that was discontinued and I have never found an adequate replacement.
These suffice for all days but the heaviest and I'll keep trying them until I find a better replacement.

I am using more natural products for myself and family as I find we are much healthier. I do have infection problems so I read where it would be a good idea to stay away from any harsh chemicals like the bleaching and treatments in women's products.

I couldn't give them 5 stars as I have two issues with this product. I don't like that even with an applicator the tampon is hard to fully insert. I find myself often not using cardboard applicator and am usually forced to throw it that away as it does not properly release the tampon. And the price is a bit much so I switch back and forth between the Natracare and regular tampons.
