I live in Southern Califiornia, and have olive skin so keeping tan all year works for me, and I can handle the darker shade. I've tried a lot of other self tan products, spending a lot of $$ on the St. Tropez line. I find this L'Oreal product is super easy to use, and the color lasts longer than the others. As with any self tanner, avoid heels, toes, ankes. 2 cautions: select a good place to spray it on because what isn't on your body will fall to the ground; I do not recommend it for use on your face. For that I go to Clarins.

I gave the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze a try after using similar products from Banana Boat and Neutrogena. This has surpassed Banana Boat Summer Color as my current favorite at-home spray tan. I like to start by lightly exfoliating in the shower before patting dry and spraying upwards from my feet while still in the shower to minimize messy overspray. Since I have dry skin, I follow by applying lotion to take care of any unevenness. Depending on how dark I'd like the tan to turn out, I sometimes give myself a second once-over with the spray. The color always comes out perfect and even this way for me. Highly recommended!

I liked the color but when it dried I had weird unevenness and streaks. It washed off unevenly as well. I would be interested in a similar type of product once they improve it.

I ordered this product even after reading about the problems others had with the sprayer so my expectations were not very high. I haven't had any problems that were described at all! This product is wonderful!! It has a very fine mist spray and dries in a flash. I have been using the Neutogena Micro Spray and it is anything other than a micro spray + takes a long time to dry. It also looks a little orange. The Loreal product gives a very natural look and you can let it dry between sprays to see if you think you need more. Highly recommend!

Purchased 2 bottles and the sprayer stopped working on both of them when they were still about half full. Now I have to throw them away. Ridiculous!! I shop online all the time and this is the first review I have ever written in my life because I am so frustrated with L'oreal. A great product is completely ruined because the applicator is so cheap...L'Oreal's suntan lotion did the same thing - but in that case, the sprayer broke after only 1 use.

This product will tan you, if you're lucky to get it out of the can. My bottle sprayed beautifully for the first 5 SECONDS, then it started to spit and sputter and then not come out at all. After numerous attempts to try again, un-clog the nozzle, etc., I've given up. The design must have a defect of some sort. The few seconds I was able to get any product out, the tanner dried immediately and didn't have the usual "tanner odor", so if your can actually sprays, you'll probably get a nice result, but the fight with the can isn't worth it for me.

It says "no rub" but I have a very uneven "tan." The color is fine and it was easy to use, but I think I'll stick with creams for more control and better results.
