I have tried all kinds of facial products....Olay makes my skin breakout and very dry, and the more expensive ones the same...so on a whim I bought Ivory (the original one) and it works wonderful! I am 50 still prone to pimples and since using Ivory I haven't had a single pimple in months! I pair it with Complex 15 Facial moisturizer and am amazed how wonderful they work together. No more wasting money on expensive frivolous products that "claim" to take the wrinkles away. Ivory will be my ONLY product.

I used Dove and Oil of Olay for years now with NO problems. However, I switched over to Dove and all of a sudden I am so itchy and irritated in my "girlie parts!" At first I thought it was something else as this soap is supposed to be pure with no added colors. But after a little over a month I realized it's the soap. At times I would use it I'll be fine but still feel a little almost burning sensation well after I'm dried off. I even thought well maybe I didn't rinse myself well in the shower which is unlikey so I make absolutely sure that I rinse all the soap off. Still the mild burning and itchiness. Even today as I am writing this I am really itchy! If you are sensitive down there I suggest be very careful with this soap. It is a lot stronger than it appears to be! I am going back to Dove or Oil of Olay Pronto!

Works as well as it did when I was a child, rinses off well on face & body so there's never any residue feeling left on me.

I use this product when I take showers and it works just fine. I like the fact that it is a plain and simple soap with not that many ingredients. There are no cons to this product that I can think of. Even the price is very good. My mom said that when she was a kid in the 30's and 40's, she remembers using this soap and still does to this day. It is the only soap that she likes and uses. I recommend this soap.

I really love ivory soap =] the only down side is it tends to dry my skin out a bit...it's not too terrible, but I looove the way it cleans, and It's been around since the EARLY EARLY 1900's and it's incredibly good for the skin. I have acne and it seems to be helping a bit so far =]

Ivory is Okay. Not a bad soap. The smell doesn't get to me like the smell of many other soaps. It is just a clean smell. Nothing Special. The same smell for many years. It has no moisturizing abilities in it. I use this sometimes if I want a really good clean.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IVORY ORIGINAL SOAP! I HAVE AN IMMUNE SYSTEM PROBLEM AND AM EXTREMELY SENSITIVE TO ALMOST EVERY SOAP THERE IS (I HAVE LITERALLY TRIED OVER 100 BRANDS!). THE ONLY IVORY THAT I CAN USE IS THE ORIGINAL. I ALSO USE ORIGINAL BASIS SOAP. IVORY IS DRYING, BUT I BALANCE IT OUT WITH UNSCENTED LOTIONS. ALSO, IT WOULD BE NICE IF IVORY COULD FORMULATE A LOTION THAT IS UNSCENTED.

Very inexpensive and makes my oily skin feel squeaky clean!

I am 50 years old, and this is all I have ever used to cleanse my face, other than a few attempts at the "latest hot product". I always go back to Ivory, and people tell me I look 10 years younger than I really am. Sometimes simple is best!

It's super cheap. I love the aloe. I clean my hair garments with it (scarves, wraps, etc), intimate wear, my daughter's hair with it, and it's good for clearing up skin discolorations (gradually with regular use). The lavender flavor is also good and gets you relaxed. But nothing tops aloe for me. The smell is great also. Very refreshing. I'm super sensitive so fragrances and colorings irritate my skin badly. I used to use Dove and Caress but they began to bother me so I went for the Ivory (plain)a few years ago and haven't looked back. I can clean without worry of rash, stingy, burning nose, or welts all over me. The bad thing about this is that it melts too fast.
