I am 54 years young. My mother used Resinol on my diaper rash as a baby. As a teenager I used it to clear up pimples. It's a drawing salve. Helps bring splinters to the surface, I've put it on aggravated hangnails, I rub it into my hands and cuticles when they're dry and sore. and any rash you can think of will benefit from it. Another reviewer said they used the original that was made by mentholatum? Never heard of that. It has never really worked on itches. This product is the same as the original. You will not be disappointed.

I used the original formula from Mentolatum from childhood to last month. It had calamine lotion and zinc oxide in addition to the ingredient from which it takes its name. The new formula doesn't work, doesn't relieve itching, and is very greasy.
