I use this as my gym bag eyeshadow. It's small and easy to apply in a hurry. I have no issues with creases and it doesn't get mixed up with my eyeliner as some cream eye shadows tend to do.

I adore this eyeshadow. As I age, I prefer to use cream eye shadows, as they don't highlight lines like powder shadows do. This is a great light pink color. It goes on easily and smooths easily.

This is a much more wearable, user friendly substitute for Kitten, the cult classic eyeshadow by Stila.

Inked in Pink is a soft, shimmery, neutral pink that would look nice on a wide range of skin tones. It has a more subtle shimmer and a bit more pigment than Kitten, which is a big plus for those who found Kitten unwearable because it's so frosty. It's also much more forgiving to people have eyelid skin imperfections due to allergies, sun damage, aging, etc. Your mileage will vary, but my lids tend to be on the oily side and this product stays on quite well for 8 hours with minimal to no creasing. It works fabulously as a primer with powder shadows, but beware - I can't blend different color shadows when using this as a base. I can manage one shade either in the crease or as an all-over lid shade, but I find it incredibly difficult to do much blending after the fact so apply powder shadows carefully. It helps to use a fluffy "soft focus" brush that won't leave any hard edges to begin with.

Similar products: "Bare Skin" by BareMinerals is a similar shade in a loose powder formula, but it's a little darker with a soft taupe base. Stila, as mentioned above, also has a taupe base but is much lighter with a lot more shimmer (too much, in my opinion). Neither of these shades last long without a primer.

In my opinion, Inked in Pink trumps them both, for lasting power, color and wearability. Worn alone with nothing but a shimmery brown, gray, or taupe eyeliner results in a soft, beautiful "pin-up girl" look that takes seconds to create. Black eyeliner will add more drama.
