Excellent product, much better that calamine lotion which can be somewhat "messy". Works quickly to relieve itching.

Once when I had poison ivy from playing around a bit much, my mother gave me this stuff along with the aveeno bath treatment. It helped to make me stop scratching at it, and in a few days, I was able to go back to school poison ivy free. So for those who say it does not heal or completely cures, that's only half true. Before using the Aveeno though, I did use some rubbing alcohol to get the germs and dirt off. But the Aveeno Anti-Itch lotion and bath treatment work well together!

This product is better than the steroid cream prescribed by my doctor for Dermatitus for my red irritated, cracked skin. My skin is healing. The rash is gone on some parts of my hand. I have been using this product for five days. Awesome results. My skin is sensitive to almost everything! Just about everything makes it itch or irritated. Soap,dish detergent, and some laundry detergent and even some hand lotions made my hands red and irritated--An allergy reaction. I was miserable until Aveeno Anti-Itch Concentrated Lotion came to the rescue. After eight months of different products relief at last. I use Aveeno shower gel products too for my sensitive skin now. Aveeno Active skin relief moisturizing lotion is an excellent 24 hour relief too. Thank you Aveeno for excellent products. Have tried other products by this company and are always pleased with the results.

I read all the wonderful pro comments and really thought this product would work. It felt and smelt great, but my itchy insect bites continued to itch. Maybe it worked after a half hour - either that or I had just blocked the feeling. Aveeno soap was always great for itches for my kids, but this lotion didn't cut it for me. I hope to find a family member who'll have better luck!

I'm using Aveeno Anti-Itch lotion for heat rash. I like that it does not contain hydrocortisone (steroid) that's in most OTC anti-itch products. Cortisone is known to cause skin discoloration after extended use. The lotion texture is very easy to apply and absorb into skin. Its main active ingredient calamine is very calming to the effected area. It also contains analsgesic ingredient that provides temporary itch/pain relief. Overall, it's effective for its intended use: sympton relief. I'd highly recommend this for temporary relief of symptons associated with skin rash/iritation. However, I don't think the ingredients promot healiing or cure the rash.

I use it to help calm down the Postherpetic neuralgia that I have on the right side of my face due to the Shingles a year ago. It appears I will be using it for a long time. I also use Cortisone 1 for this.

Finally something to stop the itching. My skin is sensitive to everything, and everything makes it itch. Soap, clothes detergent, hard water, -- I was miserable until Aveeno Anti-Itch Concentrated Lotion came to the rescue.

I have been employed at a Hospital for almost 25 years.I am constantly washing my hands.I have been having what I think are reactions to the constant soap and water on my hands about 12 years or so .Weird dry itchy looking patches that come and go.I had tried several products with no help except to stop the itch for awhile.I found this in a store one day having never heard of it and almost didn't get it because it was more expensive than I usually pay for similar things,but tried it anyway. I am so glad I did,finally something that actually works on my problem.Now,if I get a breakout all I have to do is apply this a few times a day for a few days and it clears up.It will usually clear up in two to three days with proper use.I have already told several friends about it.
