This product does double duty in our home. My husband uses it on his face and head, and I use it on my legs. We both love Aveeno shave gel--wouldn't consider switching from the brand, although we sometimes opt for the soy version, depending on availability.

My husband will not use anything but Aveeno shaving cream. We both use this and have no complaints. I like that it does not have any strong scents or perfumes. It makes it easy for traveling too since we only have to pack one can of shaving cream for both of us. I am a thrifty shopper, but this is one product where it is better to pay a little extra and get a superior product.

Most shave creams are foams. That means they are mostly air, which does nothing to hydrate your face and soften your beard prior to shaving. But Aveeno is a thick gel... and because of its colloidal oatmeal, it stays thick on your face, instead of turning to foam like the other shave gels. Because it retains that thickness (or viscosity) it does clog your razor somewhat. So I keep an old toothbrush on hand, and gently clean off the razor a couple of times during the shave. It's a tiny bit of a bother, but so worth it. I have tried all the shave creams, and this one is head and shoulders above the others in terms of preventing razor nicks. It is the only one I have found, that enables me to shave without cutting my face... and especially my neck... to pieces. Just try it once, and you'll never go back.

This is by far the best shave gel I have used. I have sensitive skin and this works the best for me. The almond smell is great as well. I have found my shave gel in Aveeno.

Used to have a razor burn/bumpy neck most of the time. Aveeno solved this problem and I have continued use for about 1 year with no complaints except bottom of can get rusty. Guess packaging is where they cut product cost.

Guys don't think this is limited to ladies only. I do not like shaving cream with heavy fragrance and this product is just all around good on my face. Very clean, comfortable, and really get very few razor bumps. This is the best shaving cream I have ever used.

I got this for my husband and his sensitive skin. He said it felt very nice and worked well, but it is very thick and hard to clean from the razor. I hope Aveeno comes out with another one that's a little easier to work with.
